Dr Ukpeh

Biography

Dr Ukpeh is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He holds certifications in Leadership and Finance, and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and a Consulting Pediatrician, bringing decades of clinical and academic experience to his practice and teaching.

A dedicated member of the Canadian Pediatric Society, Dr Ukpeh has contributed to several of its key committees, including the Public Education Committee and the Self-Assessment Committee. He currently serves as an Assistant Editor for Pediatric and Child Health, Canada’s leading pediatric journal, and his work is widely published across both electronic and print media.

He is the author of Only Be Afraid of Standing Still – Practical Lessons from the Lives of Children, and is currently working on additional manuscripts. Passionate about Global Health, he is exploring the use of Artificial Intelligence to improve health outcomes and overall well-being across the African continent.
