Before you travel
Planning your visit
Allow extra time for traffic and parking. Tell us at booking that you are travelling in and we will try to group appointments into one trip.
Transportation
Peterborough Transit routes stop close by, and Highway 115 brings you in from the 401 without city traffic.
Parking
Paid underground parking is available in the building, with accessible spaces near the lifts.
Airport information
Peterborough Airport (YPQ) is about ten minutes away. Toronto Pearson (YYZ) is roughly a 90-minute drive, with intercity coach service into downtown Peterborough.
Nearby hotels
Several family-friendly hotels are within walking distance. Ask our office for the current list when you book.
What to bring
Health card, immunisation record, current medications, growth charts, previous specialist letters and a favourite comfort item.
Referral requirements
Many visits are more useful with a referral from your family physician. We will tell you at booking whether one is needed.
Preparing your child
Explain the visit simply and honestly the day before. Children cope best when nothing is a surprise.
